A Precision Jump involves jumping from one small area to another small area by using your whole body (arms, legs, core/torso, head) in a careful coordination to help keep balance as you land. The motion itself resembles a coil being launced in the air and then landing again, absorbing and straightening out. The jump is great for situations where you need, you guessed it, precise jumping! A good example would be from a rail to another rail where balance and coordination are key.

  • u r supposed to do tht with precision jumps, the 90degree angle thing is tp protect ur knees wen ur fallin frum a large height, and to keep ur momentum goin foward which is something u dont want wen ur tryin to stabalize urself

  • he goes way to far down with his body after landing. you should have about a 90° angle in your knees!

  • at first i was like "what a nice tutorial "take off and then land"

  • @Cornampoo I agree 100 %,

  • nice Ariakes, I have the black and white ones ^_^

  • @LundLPictures Yeah, cus we're all squares and circles. It's an estimation. As long as your muscles are the ones taking the impact, it's fine.

  • shouldn't have this many dislikes. 90 angle is to protect legs, sure, but everything else is great.

  • deepening your landing means more activation of the quads and calves, which makes for a less forceful landing on the knee and ankle joints. Also, it ensures the momentum will be absorbed to the fullest extent, which is what the traceur wants on this type of landing...

  • do they have araikes size 13

  • 90 degrees is bullshit. Your knees are the strongest at a fully bent or fully extended position. Not somewhere in between (like 90°).

  • @danyt19 the shoes are k swiss ariake's

  • @danyt19 your mom
