Celebrating Singapore's 44th National Day, Team 0007 (STA-2009-G301-0018) of Republic Polytechnic presents the promised Radio Play.

Project Title: Battle for Freedom; A Lieutenant Adnan Story
Medium: Radio Play (Stereo)

Description:
Based on the historic and well-known battle at Bukit Chandu prior to Britishs surrender of Singapore to the Japanese in World War II, the story revolves around Lieutenant Adnan Bin Saidi, who is summoned by the call of responsibility in defending Singapore from the brutal invasion of the enemy. Despite heavy odds with his army severely outnumbered and drastic depletion of ammunition and shortages of food, the Lieutenant refuses to submit to his adversaries as he leads his fellow Malay Regiment into one of the deadliest battle witnessed in history.
