Looks like he wasn't the first car to hit that guardrail, the rail was already bent to shit, and there were pylons placed along it. I'm guessing something got spilled on the highway where the Jag driver lost it. He wsn't going incredibly fast and despite being a heavy car, it should have no problem holding a corner like that at the speed he was moving.
