Guthrie is the most well rounded guitar player out today. He is regarded as such by people who matter - other successful musicians. If you have ANY doubt that this guy is the truth, watch him jam with other monsters. He made Ron Thal look bad. Ron Thal is no joke. He won't get the fame he deserves just like every great jazz guitar player goes unknown. It doesn't matter - he is the king of this decade.

@112358miau mira, respeto tu idea, pero eso seria tambien como decir que el que no sea de texas, no puede tocar bien country... pero bueno, si lo he visto tocar flamenco muy interesante, pero con pick no con dedos clasicos. talves eso le quite puntos...pero siempre he pensado que no importa la tecnica que uses.. lo importante es el sonido. y no me enfado hermano.. saludos!!

@johanlr Bueno, desde luego aun no le he oido tocar flamenco, sería una delicia, seguro. Me refiero a lo de frigio porque la gente que no es española o no esta acostumbrada al flamenco le llama flamenco a todo aunque no me esperaba que fueras español tambien.

Ten en cuenta que dije, lo único que no puede tocar es flamenco, esperemos XD

@johanlr People use to have a wrong idea of what flamenco is. Flamenco is not just playing phrygian. It has really complex times and accents. And of course is not just Paco de Lucia. You should check some kinds of flamenco that Paco never played and so interesting as the ones he play!!
