  • what if you do find a low spot when you wet the surface, what do you fill it with? then how many layers primer do u spray over that?

  • yup Doc you mark the low area, then fill with polyester. i would use the fine finishing filler

    2 coats of spray primer to fill spot repaired area. Restolad 

  • Great series of videos Restolad - thanks for passing on your skills. A question - could you maybe do a video on how to repair a small area of rust in the middle of a large panel of Pearl metallic paint please ? I have to tackle a few of these on my car and I guess it's not easy to match the new paint with the old existing finish ?

  • @UplymeVideo refinish net work , or on you tube jimmoforlife has the best lesson on blending a small repair .

    if it was mine & i was spraying pearl mica's i would color the whole panel. Restolad
