Always There is a short film written by Victoria Ijeh-Okusanya and directed by myself, Barnabas Lawson. It was my final project for my media Degree at Royal Holloway Univeristy.
The film is a short story about a guy called Steve who has struggled with the Christian faith having seen his parents who are both Christians break up, because of his dads unfaithfulness. Steve is having problems relating with God, with his mum and is being bullied at school.
Steve's mum is a committed christian who believes in the Word of God and prayer. When Steve continously gets bullied and stolen from, will the prayers of his mother be answered or will Steve continue to suffer? Can things turn around for Steve, is there hope in his situation?

God Bless you and your family

  • Thanks Jabsta

  • Thanks for your feedback Spifityis.

  • Thanks Soundman :-) When I can I will show you the film on DVD, the audio and picture quality are much better.

  • Thank you, I agree we tend to live unmindful of God and His love for His children.

  • @gueneemc hahahahaha you gotta be kidding right? Just.... leave... me... ALONE!!! hahaha yeah very subtle... Im feeling a bit... ill... can III goo hooome? hahaha Less is more, but this is clearly not the case, son. But judging by your material, I dont blame you... Be happy, and keep going to whatever drama school has accepted you.

  • @Spifitytis I disagree... I think it works quite nicely with the ending. I'm not religious but I like to know where a quote is from. I worked with the lead actor on a short before and he's good. A good, subtle performance. LESS IS MORE.

  • Awsome Video! Great work guys !

  • Better to be safe.... *puts on glasses* than sorry....

    YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • The story is beautiful, but the final reading of the bible was completely unnecessary: the public has understood that the guy was an angel and the reading was kind of patronizing and taking the audience for granted. Besides it was poorly read, this lead actor is the worst I've seen in ages.

  • Great Video, powerful (and current) storyline. I look forward to many more such high quality videos. Keep up the good work.
