Recorded on 5th September 2010 from the east side of an 'Up' train formed of 4-VEP EMU No.3417 hauled by GBRf class 73 locomotive No.73208 as it travels along the approx ½ mile line from the railhead at the northern end of the Imberhorne Lane Waste Tip to the new platform at East Grinstead platform.

  • Nice vid, great to see that the gap between the two ends is narrowing...had a look on google-earth and it doesn't look too big, any ideas how much longer it will be before north and south rails meet?

  • Nice. A stroke of luck that BR didn't flatten Imberhorne Viaduct! Are there plans to double track over the viaduct?
