Writing in the Vatican newspaper, the astronomer, Father Gabriel Funes, said intelligent beings created by God could exist in outer space.

Father Funes, director of the Vatican Observatory near Rome, is a respected scientist who collaborates with universities around the world.

The search for forms of extraterrestrial life, he says, does not contradict belief in God.

The official Vatican newspaper headlines his article 'Aliens Are My Brother'.

  • Oh aliens are not demons, how crazy is that to think, they've been here watching us for years if not hundreds of year as our planet and us evolves, and if they wanted to they could of wiped us all out a long time age, for not looking after our beautiful planet we call home. so rest a sure we are not under attack by demons.

  • God is earth's creator and the creator of the whole universe, and other of life on other planet. We need to be open minded about other life which lives on other planets and not rule it out, we are not alone in the universe, and to think we are is a lack of understanding and knowledge. If we was told the true from the early 40s 50s about what was going on we wouldn't be so closed minded in what's happening now, as more and more people are seeing other beings.

  • Revelations 17vs5 is what your referring to. I don't endorse the Burn in Hell part. I don't want to see any of my fellow brothers or sisters perish. Babylon is alive and well in almost every world religion! Waiting for the horn to honk.

  • @al3699 Or they'll say "My God > Your God."

  • I suggest that before Vatican begins talking about aliens from outer space, that the Vatican begins talking about the true centralized global government that is and has been taking place for a very long time now.

  • Después de tantos avistamientos al comprenden q c equivocaron y para preservar su religión lo aceptan pero la verdad es todo lo q provenga del universo viene de nuestro creador

  • The Catholic church definitely believes in life on other planets. They've pinpointed the exact location of at least one planet in particular that may hold the key to life in outer space; Youranus.

  • No one knows anything. No one can either prove or disprove the existence of God and that's what drives both the believer and the atheist crazy. In regards to the video: Just because these potential "aliens" are also God's creatures doesn't mean they aren't violent or dangerous.

  • @rasielmorte2005 ur sooo right.
