~actually, the driver is not exceeding the rev.-limits of the engine or clutch, and is treating it nicely as to surge of power (ie: no absurd burn-out demonstration); --and this 0-100mph range is most enjoyable yet entirely safe, provided the tires are not weather-aged..!!

what was the 0-100 time please????

Why ...why do you to that, with the old Engine ?...its not good,...

This is the best car in the world. I've got just the small brother 190 SL.
All the best with car :)

There were many refinements in the Roadster. Most notable was the rear suspension. It has the newer low pivot point swing axle, whereas the gullwing had the diff solid mounted to the frame and short swinging axles like a VW beetle. Rear traction around corners was greatly improved with the Roadster setup. Also, the gearbox in the Roadster is much quieter due to the introduction of helical gears. The first time I drove a Gullwing, I returned to check the gearbox oil. Oil was OK, gear noise NOT.
