even worse, the emerald bowl.. i was very upset with the loss to arizona... i'm agreeing with you 100% that this was the most disappointing season since carroll's first year. but all i'm saying is if they come short of a nc berth, it's not disappointing.

First off dont use the Lords name in vein....Second off i never said anything about those other teams im talking about usc football and for having all the good players usc has not making the national championship or rosebowl does seem to be a major disapointment. jesus christ you really don't know anything about pete carroll. he said himself that his goal every year is the rose bowl and the pac 10 title because that is something that he can control. he can't control the national championship so he says if he makes it then good but his goal is the rose bowl. so you're saying when teams like oklahoma, texas, bama, even notre dame gets top ten recruits, that just because they didn't make the ship they had a disappointing season?
