Landgrabbing murderers? What on earth are you talking about? Israel just sits there and gets attacked because of religious extremism. They actually are one of the least expansionistic countries in the region. (other than perhaps taking back their land after treaty violations and so forth)
As for us being an ally it is because they are the only Western state in the region, it's nothing to do with any "zionist conspiracy" -whatever that is.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to conclude from Obama's speech that he is for pre-emptive military strikes. There are just wars, but not just preemptive ones. Judge a country for its actions, not your fears, eh?
Not that anyone believes Iraq was really about fear, but, that's exactly why pre-emptive doctrine is monstrously dangerous and irresponsible.
