@simonwessel Yeah I know it's just that I can be ocd like that sorry. since I have used famitracker, I'm pretty sure it's about there only being a a certain number of tracks that can be played at one time, also panning is non-existent. and of course the sounds are limited to very simple beeps.

@yanorei Thanks! No pressure, eh? :)

great start to a potentially great series!

@simonwessel: No problem. Keep up the good work.

"by the power of 8 bit" WRONG. This is just "retro" or "chiptune" but not 8 bit. 8 bit refers to a specific software limitation, and not all songs made in milkytracker are within that limitation. if you want to make 8 bit music then use famitracker. if you want to make chiptune style music then use milkytracker. I'm tired of this mistake that people make and it's driving me insane. the rest of the video is good though.

@axlar1 Thanks for the clarification. Do you know if it's the bit depth of the samples or if there's some other limitation in play when deciding if it's an 8-bit tune or not? The "by the power"-thing was more intended as a cheezy He-man reference rather than a technical statement. Still good to get the facts straight though.
