Dedication:
This video is dedicated to Alan Viverette, one incredibly dedicated and talented Google accessibility engineer. Thank you, Alan, for all the great work you have done with TalkBack... especially modifying the layout of the keyboard in support of using tactile virtual keyboard screen protectors on any and all Android devices!
Background Information:
Over the past year Apps4Android has been manufacturing tactile virtual keyboard screen protectors to use in combination with Google's TalkBack virtual talking keyboard. Apps4Android's screen protectors are designed, as their name suggests, to add tactility to onscreen keyboards. Their screen protectors are different than the ones available on the market today.
Apps4Android manufactures them using a proprietary formulation of polyvinyl chloride to which a large amount of plasticizer has been added. When their screen protectors are applied to clean, smooth, surfaces, they adhere firmly without the need for an adhesive. They use static electricity to hold them to the surface of touch screens!
Because no adhesives are used, applying them is very easy. They can also be removed and re-applied a very large number of times without leaving behind any type of residue. This makes them less costly, and much more durable than a majority of the screen protectors on the market today.

How does one use the onscreen keyboard in landscape orientation? "It can't be u
sed that way" is an unacceptable answer.
