whats the point of just removing the audio? if your gonna be an asshole, atleast go all the way through with it...
-
Also, RIP to EMI...when can we get the audio back, now that the zombie leech bringing the claim is no longer in business...

@leenashville Fair use is fair use. Your argument is invalid.

more like 99 problems and copyright IS one

@leenashville Danger Mouse can't create? He hasn't earned multiple Grammy noms as a producer for not being able to create. He was behind St. Elsewhere and Demon Days, among multiple other critically acclaimed albums.
He isn't a thief either. You have no idea what you're talking about. Jay-Z released an acappella version of his Black Album, openly INVITING PEOPLE TO MIX IT. He mixed it with the Beatles White Album, WITH NO INTENTION TO MASS RELEASE IT. He hasn't profited from it.

@leenashville Sir, I have disagree with you.
1. Both Jay-z and Paul McCartney gave danger mouse there consent (It was the Beatles lawyers who sued)
2. I wouldn't consider danger mouse a criminal for sampling. Sampling has been going on for 100's of years! A perfect example is "Whole lotta love" by Led Zeppelin. The riff and lyrics in that song are completely based off "You need loving" by Muddy Waters (which Muddy himself took from local cotton field workers!)

YAY Youtube...............

@leenashville He is creating music by editing the original song, and making it into this beat. Its harder work than you think/give credit for.

1. copyright is not stupid. if you had money taken out of your pocket from something you had created, you would think differently.
2. Danger Mouse is a thief who got fame from illegally using the work of others without their permission. I put him in the same category as Sheryl Crow (who uses others and then disses them after getting what she wants)..he's a photo op...not a real talent. Anyone can edit. Creating is something else.

@DerSuperJerome Right to privacy states that unless someone witnesses the act it isn't illegal. The constitution, you should read it. You can probably download a text copy of the constitution at the pirate bay
