the problem is that the "public works" in general are not productive. It is like putting a bandaid on cancer.

Only the private sector produces productive jobs. Eliminating the minimum wage and doing away with income and corporate taxes would be the a true way to produce jobs.

The majority of the prison population is being held for drug possession, perhaps the coming depression will affect the way our country handles the war on drugs.

no kidding, the drug prohibition is useless... Education would honestly fix half the problem, do we tech our kids in school what crack does to you? of coarse not.....

and what do you think about Arnolds tax increases... time for a good old fashion TAX REVOLT in calif.. Goverment is way to large and needs a major haircut..
