@Francesko263 probably because of similarities in pronounciation. Another reason is that spanish like most european languages especially the ones of latin descent have a lot of greek inside.

@DespinaKouros Well, I do not refer to mathematic or other intellectual words. I do refer to everyday words which are sometimes greek but most of times are not greek. For example english has many greek/latin words but does not sound spanish or greek to me. I think it must be the -as, -es, -or and vocal endings in greek which makes me think of spanish.

@Francesko263 a good lexicon will do the job! Just try it!:)) Every term in Maths, Architecture, Fine Arts, Medicine,Philosophy, Glossology e.t.c. is greek! So, why you reject that so easily?
