Hi everyone, this is Laura Shigihara (I'm the Plants vs Zombies composer and singer)... I thought it might be nice to upload the piano versions of a couple PopCap Plants vs. Zombies songs. This one is called "Graze the Roof" and it is heard during the Roof levels.

Sorry that I'm practically inaudible in the video... I recorded this video with my iPhone so the volume isn't good ^_^; And yes, I'm the girl who sings the Plants vs Zombies theme song (Zombies on Your Lawn).

You're amazing!!! I can't believe you composed the music for PvZ! I LOVE the soundtrack :D How did you come up with it?

@carolinejiang123 I'm glad you liked it ^_^ I tried to come up with music that matched the game's style themes... I thought of 3 major themes: macabre, cute, and funny... and tried to make sure the music somehow matched all of those things by using Gothic Classical elements, easy to remember melodies, and weird mixing of genres (especially with the percussion)

This song is an absolute masterpiece! Probably my favorite song in the game.

And, no disrespect to you, Shigi, you've got some fantastic chops, but to anyone who hasn't heard the version featured in the game, it's even more amazing! The instrument variety and audio effects are spot-on!

@Myoldnamesdontwork I composed all of the music specifically for the game except for "Ultimate Battle" (the conveyor belt stage music)... I originally composed this to be used as boss battle music for my rpg Melolune^^
