An even better quality of the second half of the parade.
Vintage 8mm Quincy Ma., Holiday Parades, late 1950's. Recorded by Quincy resident Dan Marini.
Dan was filming his daughter's Linda & Janet (Majorettes) but kept the camera rolling through much of each of the two parades.
Unknowingly he captured a true piece of Americana. Dan passed away in 2006 at age 90.
8mm enhanced by Larry Tocci. The original film was discarded. All that remains is a fading fair quality 1980's VHS dub.
The tape's VOB files have been archived & enhanced as best as possible by Larry Tocci.
You're now looking at 4th generation. 8mm (original) to VHS transfer, a conversion to digital, & youtube.
