Went to see District 9 Tuesday and the movie suceeded on many levels. I've never been impressed by CGI aliens, mostly dissapointed. They ruined movies for me like A.I. and Signs. However, District 9 from start to finish maintained character and pulled me in. Go see this movie.

XCOM UFO Defense Enemy Unknown Challenge Series: Largel Scout Mission Strategy Guide Tutorial Walkthrough Tips Tricks Still using light fire arms to accomplish this mission until these rookie troops can improve accuracy and time units. For future missions I'll load them down with heavy weapons to improve strength. Still in this 1st month and I'm already on my 6th mission. I wont post every mission but I will show a mission to include every UFO encountered except the Small Scout. I'll continue to upload a series of recorded gameplay (edited) showing my attempt to beat the game as quickly as possible without cheating plus exposing tricks and tactics I have developed over the years of playing the game. This will be the 1st edit where I have to use split screen to observe the progress of the two squads all while reducing the time of the video down to ten minutes.

In 2007 XCOM was selected as best PC game of all time by the staff of IGN. I never tire from playing it and there is always some tech guy out there making a way to keep playing it on faster and faster machines. I'll be focusing on early mind control and accomplishing the final mission without bringing ANY WEAPONS, only PSI-AMPS. If you enjoy strategy and tactical turn based games or movies like District 9 I recommend this game STILL SOLD TODAY at places like Steam. Tell me that isn't impressive considering that it was released in 1993. My posts will include my editing music that fits the game: electronic, sci-fi, creepy, suspense, dark drones and many more influences. Comments including how fast you beat the game are welcome. • In your videos music from Sony Playstation(?) is playing. Is it mod or only video edit?

By the way, there is sound mod that changes all sounds to their original. For example in your version (patched i think) sectoids shout with stange deep voice. It isn't right, they have high-pitched voice.

  • I've always been a fan of the original sound FX but didn't know there was a mod for it. If you could send me a message with your email I'd love to get it from you. Music for this is not a mod. I added the music in the final stage of making these videos. I edited this music with the intent to listen while playing via mp3. Both tracks run about an hour each and are are being hosted at the site xcomufo (dot com of course) by Micah. The music is from multiple sourses including several xcom games.

  • What's with the dual screen? Is it a video editing trick or some game mod? It's hard to tell what's going on with the action in separate screens.

  • Not a game mod. This gameplay is heavily edited to run in 10 minute blocks. I've included dual screens for the simple reasons of time and space. When the troop splits in to 2 squads or spreads out I can cover more gameplay by splitting up the action. I agree it IS a bit confusing but once you pick a side to view you will catch up with the action. I dont want to be like other posters and have a 100 lengthy posts but at the same time I want to give the feel of beating the game from start to finish

  • I think it's pretty nifty. What software do you use to generate that effect?

  • There are plenty out there to choose from including Final Cut Pro, Avid and the like. I have found Edius runs very well and is my choice

  • "MVP right there" is right, the SoB sniped his first alien with a 9mm

  • Good work on that mission. A little lucky though, with my luck at least two soldiers would have died, especially miss "I Like Hot Plasma to the Face." Still, should have included a video of you taking an alien grenade while deploying... It happens to the best of us and really brings home the importance of saving constantly! Keep up the good work!

  • ive use too play it and broke

  • I wonder if anyone hired many workers to produce stuff to sell like I did heavyly in the game. All the laser-stuff e.g., because it didn't cost any alien rawmaterials. I always asked myself if shot-down ufos could hurt your relationship with the country they crashed, if you don't recover them and let them parish. To be sure, I tried to shoot them over water later on, as long as I had something to research (money never troubled me because of my laser-factory ^^).

  • Thanks to video editing you never notice when he reloads.
