Hercules is the best military cargo plane ever built... they also were used by Argentine Air Forces as a refueling plane, and they NEVER could been shot down by Royal Air Force.

Anyone know if they tried it with any load? landing and taking off is one thing, landing and taking off with a payload is another.

@ComandanteJ I'd disagree, not everyone is the kind of person who would fight for their country, risking their lives for something they believe in. But I know some guys in the military, they know what rough means. I'm not a soldier, but I believe the military could be a good experience if looked upon the correct way, it could make us all appreciate life more. Knowing that there are always fellow people out there getting their legs blown off for the sake of others.

I thought a C-130 was too big for a carrier. Wonder how often it is done. I have to say I would not want to try it.
