@meupeniseimenso Why are you blaming negroes? African-Americans did not propose this policy. They were granted this policy. There are many African-Americans who choose to conceal their race on college resumes because they don't want to enter an elite school under what they recognize as an unfair policy. I am black and I am against Affirmative Action. In addition, affirmative action is for ALL minorities and extended to [white women] as well, not just blacks. You're blaming the wrong people.

Also, it's surprising to witness how many asians are in colleges. They have great gpa's and test scores, sure, but that means EVERY asian with high tests scores and gpa's will go to any of the top colleges they apply for just because they are asian. For example, stanford is full of asians and most white people that apply there have a slim chance at being accepted into Stanford, even though some do have higher test scores than their asian counterparts.

I'm half latino (but my last name suggests i'm strictly latino), and i think affirmative action is unconstitutional. when i applied for colleges, i refused to state my race. i didn't get into schools i really wanted to go to, like Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA, because there were minorities that applied there and got accepted just for being black, asian and latino. I had a 4.0 GPA and was in varsity sports and clubs. This should be done away. Being white is becoming a curse.

@MegaWinnieGirl any time you have a social welfare program that encourages people not to work, it weakens that community. i don't think that's silly. and the people footing the bill in taxes get's pissed when they see that those on the social welfare aren't that far from where they are, hence the alienation. it's alot of why white's resent blacks here in amerika. both points are factual, i've looked it up.

@guyNbluejeans He holds this experiment with his class every year for his research. Many professors do the same with their classes. The African-Americans against AA always wanted to conceal their ethnicity.

@guyNbluejeans In my humanities class at Baylor many African-Americans got into a debate together on whether or not Affirmative Action should be done away with. Our profession proposed the conversation - It got heated and many feelings got hurt. The blacks who got into college on sports scholarship were for AA and the ones on academic scholarship happened to be against AA. That's how it played out. And too add... ALL the white students supported AA, including the (white) professor.
