MAS Chicago Quran Institute (Expansion Project)

The Muslim American society is America's largest grassroots Islamic movement. This pioneering organization has the mission of reforming the individual, family, and society. To pursue that goal, MAS launches a variety of projects amongst which teaching the Quran constitutes a priority. This is why MAS invested in a Quran institute and equipped it with teaching experts. Through the institute we strive not only to teach the correct recitation and memorization of the Quran, but to deliver a balanced understanding of the Quran and Sunnah while engaging participants with personal and spiritual development that brings into being better and more productive citizens.
MAS Quran Institute --MQI- has unique programs that run daily or weekly and caters to students ranging from 3-16 years. It is also unique in its self-evaluation process that depends on the feedback from the students, parents, and community. This made it attractive to students and parents alike, and we now have 300 enrolled students and 75 on the waiting list, which makes the institute in dire need of an expansion. The new expansion should allow us to accommodate up to 500 students.
