Lisa Lynne Vblog #30 - My passion in life..

This is a brief introduction to my "Harps for Hearts" program that puts live music in hospital settings. I have been involved in this for 10 years now, and have wanted to put these pictures into a movie that shares the wonderful work being done by many programs besides my own. I have taken training from two separate programs, one being Compassionate harps led by Lynette Edelson, (five of the photo images are from Compassionate harps training program) and International Harp Therapy program. My hope is to encourage others to create similar programs so that more people can experience and facilitate the powerful gift of music as a tool for healing.

I have seen you in Florida at the Deland Art Festival and have many of your CD's Because I saw you several years ago--I decided to pick up the Celtic harp. I am teaching myself to play and I am doing pretty well. I did not know about your Harp therapy program--so it is funny that harp therapy is my goal. I hope to work with animals as well.
