Most people that sing this song are so focused on technique and the mechanics of singing that they lose the soul and meaning of this song in a forced attempt to sound accurate; however, your smooth, relaxing, and simple version is reminiscent of a man who has lost something irreplaceable in life, but has a humble cognizance of his life and that which is beyond his reach.
