Full-length promo for The Stars Are Back on NBC!, the Peacock's 1993-94 image campaign. Avid promo followers may note that a shorter variant of this promo was previously posted by DanF62465, featuring NBC announcer Danny Dark highlighting the various new starring vehicles of that season (including Frasier and Valerie Bertinelli's Cafe Americain, which was referred to not by name, but as "Valerie Bertinelli in a fresh new comedy"). It was pulled a while ago, but lets hope this copy can stay up.

Bill Cosby was back in NBC promotions that fall, since he had began a new development deal with the network for The Cosby Mysteries. The movie pilot for the new series aired in January 1994, and the series itself premiered the following fall.

Seriously, what was Cosby doing on NBC in 1993 and why was Hagman on there too?

As a kid, I started to dislike NBC after 1993, because shows like "Cosby Show","A Different World", and "Cheers" were gone. Only shows that kept me watching was "Fresh Prince", "Blossom", until 1996, and in the morning times, "Today". I really haven't watched too many shows on the network over the years.

Kelsey Grammer is doing his Frasier character without the rest of the Cheers cast. Well, that's going to be a disaster.

You need to re-word your question, it doesn't make sense.

Seinfeld was probably the best sitcom of the 90s, which is saying a lot because the 90s had a million great sitcoms, I mean Cheers until 93

And sorry but Seinfeld was not the greatest sitcom of all time. All in the Family and Lucy were both better. Seinfeld is up there but there but it wasn't #1

This is back when NBC had the best shows, They really don't anymore, except for The Office (with Steve Carell), Community and (sometimes) SNL.

mediocre? seinfeld is the greatest sitcom of all time. cosby show, fresh prince, and a few others are classics. not to mention home alone, die hard, etc. are all classic movies now. don't tell me you prefer the shit in a cardboard box they shovel into your living room nowadays.
