The movie portion is filmed handheld. The new POWER OIS is extremely effective!

  • hey buddy, i have the same camera, but i wanna know how did you managed t do the close-up in the vid, where the moon looks way ig and its shaky, and how did you get those picures? they are awesome, any particular setting? nice video thanks :)

  • @dinkymau There are two important settings for Moon shooting, whatever camera you have :

    1. Set Metering to SPOT

    2. Set Auto Focus to CENTER

If you set the metering to MULTI (wich is the default setting of most camera), the Moon will be overexposed with no details. The AF setting is far less critical, but it's a good idea to set it to CENTER.

All the pictures you see in the video are shot with the FZ35, handheld, with exposure metering set to SPOT.

  • wow..that's pretty decent i guess for a 240 quid camera. think i'll buy one too.. hmmmmmmm

  • The camera is 450$, not 240$.
