Legendary Hang Glider Pilot and world record holder Geoff Loyns talks about his rocket-deployed reserve 'chute deployment after his Airwave Magic Kiss was tumbled in turbulence in the White Mountains, Owens Valley, USA, in July 1989. This was believed to be the first ever real-life deployment of a ballistically deployed reserve system.

  • I am looking into adding a ballistic chute to my harness and would greatly appreciate any tips on where to get them? who manufactures them? any other suggestions from someone who actually had to use one ;) Glad it worked for ya mate!!! How fast was the deployment process from the moment you pulled the handle? Thanks in advance!
