You should better not use simplified generalizations like this one, may prove too dangerous. Much will depend on the totality of your own horoscope, and even more vill depend on the horoscope of the sexual partner. I've seen planets in the male horoscope completely override planets in the female chart and still produce children, in spite of all odds, so let us not simplify things too much.

Does that mean one could use this time ( 2-3yrs ) as "no birth control necessary ?" I know overall chart analysis is important too. Is astrology reliable to be used as birth control or for pregnancy ?

very interesting, i dont have any planets in my 5th house but i do have aries sitting there in that house and im currently 11 weeks pregnant...i never thought i could have children ( not because of astrology aspects ) but because it was very hard for me to get pregnant

The emtpy fifth house does not mean that you cannot have children, it only means that the timing of getting pregnant may not coincide with your wishes. As always, it will all depend on the entire horoscope.
