1990 Mens World Championships Stone Mtn Georgia , Rd 1 Jim Knisley ( 3 time world Champion) vs rookie Kevin McLachlin (horseshoe designer the M&M Horseshoe Company) Jim Knisley has one of the best 1 1/4 turns ever seen on a horseshoe court. It seems to float forever. The rookie had Jim on the ropes but once pushed the champ never missed another shoe!

  • @badman789 yea for the most part they do. 3/4 or 1 1/4. i won class B this year in my county, and im wanting to do more tournaments this winter in indoor leagues. we'll see. ill be at the ringer classic in greenville this year, so come out to one of them. 40% will get you prolly C class at the ringer classic.

  • @cojo45365 i agree it is a big sport here in ohio lol im currently 16 and hav been throwin for 2-3 years. i used to do 1 flip but now with a turn i throw almost 40 percent. all champs throw turn(:

  • i love horseshoes. it's probably the fastest growing sport here in ohio. lol. i have a 58% ringer, but i throw the 1 flip. i just find it easier to control. its almost always open and with more practice i hope to have it always around the stake. lol. maybe i'll be up against alan francis soon. lol
