Hey everyone i am 16 and really want to start mixing. I need a job first to buy the equipment etc But i was just wondering, do you guys think 16 is late to start trying this? Honest answer please

are the gemini speakers good bro...trying to get some speakers for my room but idk if i should buy a matrix b52 1000v2 or just buy 2 gemini powered speakers

@1ADANSON1 They are ok (particularly the model I have), very basic IMO but they work. Built in EQs are not that great but sound quality can be greatly improved if you run it through a good external EQ (mixer built-in EQs for example). Haven't had any experience with the B52s so I can't compare, but I can imagine the B52s having better sound quality and way more punch, as the price may suggest.

does the mackie 402-VLZ3 have ipod line in? and can i use some computer speakers using the headphone jack? can it work solo?

@The1PublicEnemy technically you can feed any input channel of the mixer using your ipod as long as you have the right cable (I connect my iphone to line in 3-4 using a Belkin Audio Y Cable Splitter 1-Mini Plug/2-RCA Plugs). Computer speakers on headphone jack should work. If solo meaning without amplifier, then no, except for the computer speaker setup mentioned above.
