Dog vs. Chicken

This is my dog in the backyard with a chicken. Her animal instincts got the best of her. Luckily we were there so nothing too bad happened to her but we got it on video. You should watch it but it is quite disturbing...I never would have thought my dog would act that way.

@dickdog75 it is in fact a Madagascar venom-spitting hen. our dog's eye was so swollen, she was almost blinded but luckily we took her to the vet in time and saved her eye

She's mixed breed, got her from the SPCA so not sure what kind of mix she is exactly. Probably part ridgeback...good call!

The dog's over-exaggerated reaction in the slow motion is hilarious. When you watch the chicken in slow motion, she isn't really doing anything. Funny doggie. I guess he asked for it.
