WCW was doing fine with 2.0 ratings but the AOL/Turner merger knocked them off the air and sold the company to Vince before Bischoff could buy it. FACT. Also, TNA is doing fine with ratings and Spike is happy with them.
-
@LumpyAdams if you look at his comment, it was 2 years ago. Before Hogan took over and made it another WCW.
-
Back when TNA was still entertaining.
-
@taylorstone Yeeeah, TNA doesn't have "soap opera storylines." Heh.
-
@theraVen27 ...oh so the shift in the monday night wars happens because of what exactly? that's right, WHEN THEY'RE RATINGS BEGAN TO FLOP due to poor management. if ratings had been through the roof and they actually turned a profit, there wouldn't have been a need to sell-i don't care what kind of company bought them-it's always about the bottom line, and wcw was losing money, not making it! idiot!
-
@taylorstone I would like to hear your opinion on the 2011 tna! My opinion is that ITS SUCKS!
-
@taylorstone now they are worse then wwe
-
over the last three months how many squash 2 minute matches have you seen from wwe?
this isn't a good vs bad, this is bad vs terrible.
wrestling is all but dead. at least TNA tries to have decent matches with their retarded storylines.
wwe...well the "matches" are just breaks so the gusy can get the rest of their lines.
-
says the guy who said wcw ratings were non existant.
BAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAA at you, dumb face
-
@viciouscanadianvixen Actually their ratings were still averaging about 2 million views near the end. Nothing compared to WWF/E but still better then anything TNA could have done.
TNA is more focused on the wrestling. WWE is more theatrics. Hands down, TNA wrestlers have phenomenally better ring skill than any WWE athlete. But WWE has much better TV presence because they have all the pyro and flashy entrances. Not to mention the soap opera storylines.
