Ampeg actually came out with a gvt series this summer . They are supposed to be based on these amps. They look the same but who knows . Its really a different company now

Sounds great. this is one of my favorate guitar songs tonally. I had a quest to find that sound.I have tried the ampeg gu12 great amp. However I truely believe this song was recorded with a fender siverface champ . It brings you a little closer

God, I wish these things weren't so rare. I'd love to have one for myself... truth be told though, I'm half afraid that I wouldn't be able to afford it even if one fell into my lap.
