I live in a small town. Most of my neighbors ask if the 2 panels and turbine I have power the whole house. I have to tell them not yet. Right now I am testing to see what it will take to power the whole house and which will be better for my location. So far solar is more of a no brainer for installs.
I have some solar and I've noticed that American's just can't get aboard with it, either like you stated money or lack of knowledge, or desire to do it when it's so simple to flick the nuke switch . And like I've heard from a lot of neighbor's it's a eye sore on houses?_Billy
