Martin's story is a great story. In every sense. With 30 million readers worldwide, his memoirs, 'For Those I loved' have captivated people in all corners of the globe. When I first read the book I was struck by how he has had the most exciting, unusual and tragic of lives yet simultaneously it's just one man's life. It has all the elements for an epic film- a perfect combination of adventure, action, romance and drama.

Each identity he possessed was a testament to the ruins of his former life, and the promise of his future.

I am delighted that Martin has chosen me to bring his life story to the big screen. In addition to my direct creative contribution I will select the most talented director, writer, actors and crew to make this film to the highest international standard.

Importantly this is an investment opportunity. Aside from the fact that this will be a great film- and given its wide appeal, commercially successful- traditionally in times of economic hardship the entertainment industry booms.
