sometimes a cheap guitar sounds ok, but thats just luck. and that's the point.

for playin at home or aleays playin with distortion full to the max it will do it's job probably.

but when u want to get some advanced sound or "that special sound like ..." u'll have probably much more work to do or let your sound run through an AMP simulator (really flat sound in worst case) or whatever..

so it really depends on your intention what u want to do with your guitar..
