Learning sterile technique and taking the time to care for your central line properly will save you so much time, energy, potential infection and worry! Proper catheter care will help you keep your line in optimal condition and maximize it's Life-saving potential! This is part three of changing lumen caps on your Hickman, Groshong or other central line. I have had central venous access for 13 years and have ample personal experience, as well as a clinical background (Pharmacy; Medicine). I AM NOT A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL; I was disabled by severe chronic illness before completing my training. I now volunteer in Patient Advocacy. If you have any questions and/or are new to central venous access; if you have any questions for future self-care tutorials, or could use some support and compassion, please feel free to message me here at YouTube or write to me at: shewhofeels@gmail.com
IT IS POSSIBLE TO LIVE WELL WITH CENTRAL VENOUS ACCESS! ;)
