Not to mention that we live in a culture that loathes anyone who isn't mindlessly content. Despite its horror, suicide is a very human act in a dehumanized society. Its funny how we celebrate enlightened self interest, but are quick to demonize a desperate individual's final attempt at happiness.

Quite often people, who are constantly threatening to kill themselves, are making the lifes of the people around them so miserable, that when they actually do kill themselves, it comes as a relief. Living close to a drama queen can be a drag.
