Acoustic Alchemy is a British contemporary instrumental and smooth jazz band formed in England in the early 1980s (c. 1981), originally fronted by acoustic guitarists Nick Webb and Simon James. The band is currently fronted by Greg Carmichael and Miles Gilderdale. Nick Webb died in London on February 5, 1998 from cancer. He was 43 and is sadly missed by his fans, me being one of them. But Greg is doing a fine job, keep on going. Enjoy. Marlon

  • I had the absolute pleasure of seeing these guys live at the Caravan of Dreams in Fort Worth, Texas in 87 or 88. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. God Bless

  • @gerniee3

I can image that the show was great. I wished I could have been there. May Nick Webb one of the original lead members RIP.

  • Hi Marlon: First of all great video! I love nature, especially the beach. This music, (AA, along with PMG and others similar) can take me away so far, and so deep. I am so grateful God has put this passion in my soul. I love music, and it is when I am truly at peace. Although I am happily married now, I love the fact she allows me this freedom, to where I can have so many CD's on the floor, and be in heaven. I know I am all over the place, but thank you for making my day a bit brighter.

Well I see that you are a compassionate man and your word are heart felt. I feel the same way about music. Love it. But I'm glad that I can make your day a bit brighter and I'm glad that you have enjoy the video. As I tell my listeners, I try to put the listeners in another state or dimension to help that person relax as they listen to the video with beautiful pics. But thx for the wonderful comment. Peace be to you and yours. Marlon

For me it was the Stone Circle. The first time I heard this group was on the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous in 1987, but I didn't now who it was until 2 years later when I saw the ending credits of that same episode.

  • @hsmarlon I first heard "Mr. Chow" from this artist and it prompted me to but more of thier music.

  • @PanthaSan

All that means is that you are in touch with your music. Me and my music goes very deep, but some (music) deeper than others. I'm glad that you enjoy it. Peace

  • Wow, I really really love this song. Makes me want to look inside myself and appreciate the good things I have done in life.

For some weird reason, it alaways makes my eyes well up, it goes that deep.

  • @atimtambaby

Al I feel what you are saying. I'm glad that I can help. Peace

  • Hi Marlon,

Thank you for posting this classic from one of my favorite groups of all time. I call this 'music for the introspective soul.' No caring individual could not be touched

    Warmest Regards,

    Al
