Fox News airs altered photos of NY Times reporters

News? Journalism? What the fuck are those?

FoxNews has decided that it's time to share its sense of "humor" with the rest of the world. The journalistic equivalent of that weird kid who masturbated to grandma pictures and thought crapping in the school urinals was the height of hilarity has found itself at the receiving end of some mild criticism, and the response is quite revealing.

CAUTION: extremely bad phostoppery ahead.

The issue is that Fox News ran altered pictures of people without mentioning that they had been altered. In journalism YOU DON'T SHOW ALTERED PICTURES WITHOUT MENTIONING THAT THEY HAVE BEEN ALTERED (unless it's pretty damn obvious that they have been changed, e.g, Steinberg's head on the poodle).

It's a breach of trust between the viewer and the news provider. In the real news world people lose their jobs and credibility over doctored photos. But this is FOX "NEWS", so nothing will happen.

faux news is absolute crap. i have not watched it in years. stick with cnn, msnbc, abc, or just about any other show. all newstations have bias, but for faux news, they take it to the extreme.
