John from Swann Security introduces the PenCam Mini Video Camera & Recorder (DVR-421). It is a real working black ballpoint pen with a hidden pinhole camera inside. You can shoot color AVI video files or shoot still JPEG photos at the push of a button. Transfer files directly to your PC with the built-in USB drive and, even better, it charges the built-in lithium ion battery (90 minutes per charge) while the USB port is connected. With 2GB of internal memory you can record for over an hour. The Swann PenCam is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7. There are also 3 pen ink refills in the pack. The pen is mightier than the sword!

  • @Boostergts ha ha ha i know-And they advertise law enforcement uses this pen. I doubt that. It's too complicated for them. cops might use it for catching someone doing something bad but you couldn't press charges on someone by what they said.

  • @obmitty1 yeah I totally agree with you on fact 45 minutes-1hour of recording time not enough. 3 or 4 hrs would be great or if the pen had a motion sensor that might make it better. this pen is for people who are preparing to have a meeting with someone & need to record the communication exchanged between people standing/sitting directly in front of them.

  • @gblueslover2 i know aren't people lame to not just figure it out for themselves that a tiny piece of electrical or duct tape will hide the light.

  • just put a piece of electrical tape or duct tape over it

  • te audio is rubbish I agree

  • this is a crappy product because the audio is not clear at all..

  • I am returning it because the on/off record switch is NOT usable for discreet use. It needs you to remove the pen from your pocket, look at the function lights on the back, push the button to turn the unit on, wait for a blue light, then push the button (the correct length of time) a second time to record.

Difficult to operate with it out of your pocket, seeing the lights and instructions. It will NEVER work in your pocket with "just touch the button" simplicity as in the video.

  • @MaxisickProductions 1 wrap of electrical tape takes care of that shit.....

  • Needs more Space, 45 minutes is RUBBISH. 4gb Version please...

  • @newyorkyankeef4n1018 yes the downside to it is if someone is behind the pen they will wonder why your pen has a light, and in dim rooms the light is easily noticeable
