radiation preditions from NILU -- online gallery mirror

Although the radiation levels are not that bad in many parts of the US, it is very interesting to explore the NILU predictions in this mirror. The west coast predictions are pretty ugly IMO.

This video explains how to get a PRE-Packaged mirror site / gallery for zardoz.nilu.no files that dutchsinse talked about (as of may 12).

Here is a quick description in text:
1. Go to http://capcalculator.com
2. Look in the upper right corner for the link that says "Download the site here"
3. Click the link and save the file (note: it is big, 500MB)
4. Move the file to where you want to share it (on your webserver most likely, but should work locally too)
5. unzip the file
6. now, point your web browser to that location and you should see the gallery mirror appear

hi - like your work. I am about to do an update for my documentary (goto my vids to watch it) and I was wondering if you could do an updated video for my doco update on the Nilu / zardoz situation. Are the files still removed? Can you still get them via backdoor? what is date of last files? Anyway you could add on your site the ability to sort the files according to the radioactive isotopes they model? cheers, greg

@UNREALALEXJONES Thanks! Yea, I will have to check and see if they have any updates. Sorting the files by isotopes huh? Hmm.... I could, but that would require some big changes. Plus the hardest thing with that is that I would have to manually open each image and figure out what tag to give it, as the file metadata gives no indication of that sort of information... That would be a pain because of how many files there are (over 10,000 images) :-)

well dont worry about sorting by isotope at this stage except for maybe if there is an easy way to do it since March 2011.... have you got any good ideas about where reliable (real) measurements are actually taken apart from nilu which seems closed down presumably because they didn't like reporting high levels??? Again, pls do a video for us - if you like, i can give you some (more) specific questions to answer. Have you watched my doco yet?
