Fascinating DVD even for a non-artist like me. Great to see a genius at work, always calm and collected, nothing's a problem, he just gets on with it and loves what he's doing. Very impressive the way he sees the whole process in advance and constantly does little things now that pay off later. Every moment of every stage is a chance to make an artistic choice that adds up to the final effect.

Just watched it again tonight whilst doing my own portrait work.Great DVD. Really inspirational. Very insightful. Wish I had access to this about 15 years ago! I've followed and copied his work since I was a kid, even before I knew who he was! He really is someone I look up to, and especially in terms of the quality of my own work, also aspire towards. Thank you Drew!!! Hope Reel ideas do a follow up!

@dtswerwertwer The only Prismacolor he would be using is Prismacolor Colored Pencils. Mostly neutral tones such as black, white, and brown.

@deadstar01 I believe he uses 27x40 Illustration Board. He likes to work on a 1:1 Ratio.

someone knows that types of sheets it uses?
-
what kind of prismacolor is he using?
