Moon fly by, movie of the moon from my telescope and webcam

Video taken with a cheap tasco 114mm reflector & £35 philips spc900nc webcam. Now moving on to the planets and the stars.Hopefully you can see its an actual movie NOT a pan across an image, there is a small amount of digital zooming in to show detail. The waves are coz I was viewing above a central heating flue. Very pleased with the detail on the craters, mountain ranges and plains (or sea)

Hi, Can you tell me if this was the 500mm short tube model or the 900mm?

@AstroDays Yep, this was the 900mm model, a bit unwieldy on the broken wooden tripod held together with jubilee clips but it was a good starting scope for me.

Also, what eyepieces were used and what magnifications?

No eyepeice at all, the spc900nc webcam is used in place of the eyepeic. It gives about the same magnification as a 5mm eyepeice. Its about 180x I think.

Anyone choosing a webcam shoudl really try to get the one above, its CCD and far far better than most.
