  • I'm a choir student at Reynolds High School, and I'm gonna put an umbrella in my yard.

  • There is going to be an umbrella rally on May 30th. Stand For Children is planning it and the details aren't worked out yet. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a sea of thousands of umbrellas marching down the street? I'll make sure that Karne Bohart gets the message and lets you all know about it.

Your choir is doing great at Reynolds High School and all of the elementary music teachers who started you off are so proud of youl.

  • Great idea & video for a dire message at Reynolds High School. I am the Art

Dept. at rural Colton HS & MS here in OR. Our music and art programs are safe but if they weren't a lot of kids would be totally devastated! I hope a lot of people read the Oregonian article today and act on it, that's how I knew of this travesty. Keep up the fight! You should get in contact with rocker Sheryl Crow - she's a huge music education supporter. This is so wrong & sad. Good luck.

  • As always teachers find the most creative ways to educate...well done from a fellow teacher in the Centennial School District.
