@BuddhaShiva1 Because they generally take lots of inspiration from classical. Master of Puppets was an album had a big time writing with, like Orion, Battery, and The Thing That Should Not Be all had massive influenes from Cliff. Cliff loved classical musical and mythology. That's what makes MoP such an amazing album, because classical methods are applied, which is why alot of other albums by Metallica don't have that same spark.

@blackmustang728 Yup I agree! Metallica's music is beatiful. And also, heavy metal music goes beautifully with classical and orchestra!

It's beautiful. My only complaint is I wish they'd more carefully miked up every individual section of the orchestra. It would make it sound less muddy.
-
this just proves that metallica's music is beautiful

WHY DO THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO PUT METAL SONGS ON ORCHESTRA??

The original is beautiful but orchestra always make the classic Metallica songs sound good. Check out S&M (symphony & Metallica) and Apocalyptica covers.
