  • DUDE!!!!!! i have an 89 with those rims haha. do you feel any difference in power or torque? i am looking at some flowtech shorties or hedman longtubes which do you recommend thanks

  • These are nice, definitely a huge power difference. I would recommend a more expensive brand as these didn't fit well. But I've heard horrible things about long tubes on third gens.

  • These headers fit just fine with a little modification to the heater hose pipe, at least that's what I found with my 88 305 TBI. I installed mine a month ago and I can't test drive it because of all the damn snow around me lol. but once march comes I will drive it like I stole it!

  • @sidewalk4004 yo i bought shorty flowtechs for my 89 camaro, i hope they fit well....and i wish i could get long tubes but i need a cat for emissions test

  • thoae headers you got of summit for 100 bucks

  • @91cannibal remember, if you want low end power, you want slightly more restriction. noise does not equal power unless you plan on hittin 7-8k, then open is better. right now i have the 305 tbi with a personal tune on it, motor hits only 5500, which is factory setup, i make more power than an ls1 becuz i designed it for that, using shorty headers, which are much easier to install, and they are jegs brand. they work good, more top end, use the flowtech specials

  • @sidewalk4004 have hedman long tubes on my 83 and they r sick, but i spent alot of money on the y-pipe bc of the exits, so now its headers-dna mufflers, turn downs. cops dont like it but i do haha

  • @camaro88iroc hey man as far as i know any header u get for the third gens u have to take lose the motor mounts on the side ur working with (not lucky both at the same time) long time to get a reply but hope it helps

  • did u pull the engine to put them in - or did u just squeeze em' in through the side??

did you also get a new Y-pipe or is it stock???

  • nice iroc by the way i got an 87 iroc

  • go with the shorties...
