@MarchToFreedom It had nothing to do with anti-imperialism. We were not prepared to let one country become too powerful.
World War I began because the Germans wanted a large surface navy, and the Russians and French were not going to allow that.

Have no illusions, boy, the only reason that Britain has ever been involved in Afghanistan is for control over the key trade hub between East and West...
