I actually like blackberry as a doe, its a twist, but it works none the less, im glad a girl gets a chance for a lead in a show like this :D

@starlily17 Instead of the warren already there but without does... this one has a doe but no warren. It flip flops...

the gender change to blackberry was a conscience act by the producers they feared an Initially ALL male rabbit cast could be seen as... a bit gay. atleast thats my reasoning for the change in blackberry's gender

@Fitzwilliamdarcy1000 For the first few episodes (can't remember how many exactly, four or five I think) the opening theme was purely instrumental. The remainder of season 1 and all of season 2 did have lyrics, but only for a few seconds (from when Watership Down comes into view to the title screen). Series 3 had a different opening entirely.

Woah, what?! I'm pretty sure Blackberry was a buck in the book.

Yep, that's right. They changed it for the TV series (presumably for the digging and Campion subplots).
