It's very possible that Lima could do this, if we all support the project and work to draw members of the community together to accomplish it. Those of us who live in Lima ARE Lima, and nothing will change if we don't try.

Is this a plan being looked at or what? I love it. It looks very inviting. I for one Love Lima and being away from home makes me appreciate it even more, problems and all.

It's just a suggestion by architecture students on how some simple changes in the Square could dramatically improve the downtown atmosphere and image. The round-a-bout (or Square-a-bout) helps to slow down traffic so it is safer for pedestrians and events (concerts, art, etc) going on in the Square. The square-a-bout also puts the road closer to the buildings so they have better visability from the street. FYI: the students published a nice book on Blurb's website.
